It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rabon D. Dobbs of Matthews, Indiana, born in Bardstown, Kentucky, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Dobbs and Rona Dobbs (Gregory); his stepmother Dorothy Dobbs; his wife Jeannette Dobbs; his siblings, Kohler Dobbs, Dilliard Dobbs, Williard Dobbs, Peter Paul Dobbs and Irene Baker; and his half-siblings, Paul Anthony Dobbs and Vera Marie Dobbs.
He is survived by: his daughter Tracey Pierce (Danny); his grandchildren, Amber Childers (Alex), Chad Pierce (Jayme) and Jake Pierce (Kate); his great grandchildren, Addison and Sicily; his half-siblings, Jim Dobbs (Bonita), Terry Dobbs (Judy), Steve Dobbs, Anna Hodge (Johnny), Connie Bales and Ruby Dobbs (Scott Vestal); and his siblings-in-law, Carl Burton (Gloria), Howard Burton and Jane Perkins (Larry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
