He was predeceased by: his parents, James O. Cain and Edna Mae Logsdon Cain; his wife Mary Jo Myers Cain; and his siblings, Joseph "Joe" Webb, Larry Cain and Barbara Cain.
He is survived by: his children, David Cain, Jennifer Kennedy of Marysville and Bobbi Cain of Marysville; his grandchildren, Jordan, Nicholas, Samuel Cain, Lauren and Mitchell Kennedy; and his siblings, Ray Cain of Jeffersonville, Nina Armstrong of Henryville, IN, Dolly Cain of Jeffersonville, Mae Gabbard of Charlestown and Carol Humes of Jeffersonville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy made take the form of donations to the family to help with medical expenses.
