She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Helton and Martha Shepherd Helton; her husband Wally Doane; and her siblings, Shirley Boling, Wanda Louise Griffin, Don Helton and James Helton.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony "Tony" D. Doane (Kim) of Pekin, IN, Larry Phillip Doane (Stacy) of New Albany, IN and Angela L. Doane of Marysville, IN; her siblings, Norma Amick of Marysville, IN, Ralph Helton of Sellersburg, IN, Jack Helton of Otisco, IN and Tom Helton of Charlestown, IN; her grandchildren, Logan, Tristan, Gavan Doane, Natalie Beebe (Michael), Nathan Clapp, Nolan Clapp and Norah Milburn; and her great grandchild Harper Beebe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy in memory of Betty may take the form of donations to New Market Christian Church.
