He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leslie Shotts and Dorothy Shotts (Scherer); his grandchildren, Gentry Martial Arts and Tai Chi; his wife Linda Shotts (Hicks); his children, Marc Shotts (Sherry) of Martinsville, Sharona "Roni" Brouse (Robert) of Martinsville, Deneen Dotts (Mark) of Martinsville, Gayle Clark (Jay) of Spring Hill and Sherri Sichting of Martinsville; his sister Lois Hensley of Indianapolis; and his grandchildren, Caleb Shotts (Hannah), Shae Scott (Logan), Raven Barnes (Garrett), Trae Brouse (Hannah), Jay Clark, Jr., Kera Thacker, Marisa Sichting and Alexandra Roberts.
