He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Vogel and Hazel Vogel (Porterfield); his wife Barbara L. Vogel (Bryant); his daughter Teresa Sheppard; and his brother Jerry Vogel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joyce Riggs (Chris) of Heltonville and Rhonda McKinney of Martinsville; and his grandchildren, Ashlie Atkins, Chastity Newman, Travis Glasscock, Emily Tumey, Michelle Alas and Nick Riggs. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
