He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Everroad and Mary "Violet" Wilson (Majors); his former wife Charlotte Sue Everroad; his wife Margaret Jane Everroad; his daughters, Melissa Everroad and Lisa Strader; and his siblings, David Everroad, Delbert Everroad, Dennis Everroad, Lyle Wilson, Vida Fishel and Ernie Wilson.

He is survived by: his daughter Denise Everroad of Martinsville; his son-in-law Michael Strader of Martinsville; his brothers, Mark Wilson, Nyle Wilson and Roy Dean Wilson; and his stepgrandson Bill Jordan, Jr..
