He was predeceased by: his parents, William Herman Vaught and Stella Vaught (Stafford); his wife Marva Vaught; his son Timothy James Vaught (Lisa) of Martinsville; and his brothers, Wayne Vaught and Jimmy Vaught.
He is survived by: his children, William "Chris" Vaught (Marie Grazia) of Stafford, Virginia and Sherree Massengale (Elvis) of Martinsville; and his siblings, Phil Vaught of Martinsville, Brent Vaught (Nina) of Martinsville, Darlene Nix (Moe) of Martinsville and Georgine Edwards of Martinsville. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
