He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Sichting and Sylvia Rosetta Sichting (Sanders); his wife Peggy Ann (Hacker); and his siblings, Dean, Les, Dale, Lloyd, Francis Sichting and Lois Carl.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Sichting (Joni) of Bonita Springs and Joey Sichting (Claudia) of Memphis, Tennessee; his siblings, Victor Sichting, Harold Sichting (JoAnne), Paul Sichting (Ida Alice) and Marie Housand; his grandchildren, Jared Sichting, Jason Sichting (Megan), Jordan Sichting, Jenna Sichting O'Reilly (Connor), Andrew Sichting and Ava Sichting; his great grandchildren, Lexi and Warren Sichting; and his close friend Patsy Burleigh.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family are asked to make a donation to the Martinsville H.S. Athletic Department.
