It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Steven Messmer Jr. of Martinsville, Indiana, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Carol Sue Messmer (Stanley) of Martinsville; his children, Messmer of Martinsville, IN and Stacia Shockley (E. J.) of Fishers, IN; his stepchildren, David Frye (Lisa) of Indianapolis and Tracy Thompson (Jeff) of Speedway, IN; his grandchildren, Zach Rudolf, Kaiser, Karsyn and Kennedy Shockley; and his stepgrandchildren, Kyle Frye, Kelcey and Bryce Thompson.
