With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Fredrick Hacker (Martinsville, Indiana), born in Brooklyn, Indiana, who passed away on January 22, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Roscoe and Lillian Dorthea Hacker (Rike); and his siblings, Joe, Gene Hacker, Loretta Hawkins and Doris Mae Hacker.
He is survived by: his wife S. Elaine Hacker (Roe) of Martinsville; his children, Michael Hacker (Crissy) of Martinsville, Jeremy Hacker of Mooresville and Jana Langley (Jake) of Ellettsville; his stepchildren, Matt Weaver (Kim) of Plainfield and Annette Taylor (Brian) of Aurora, IN; his siblings, Bruce Hacker (Joyce) of Bedford, Randy Hacker (Tracy) of Martinsville and Rosemary Bronstetter (Doug Norwood) of Martinsville; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Roe (Mary Lou) of Camp Hill, PA and David Roe (Patty Greene) of Goodyear, AZ.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six step grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
