She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Gaten and Maggie Genette Menefee (Ragsdale); her husband Joseph Wayne Moran; her son James Joseph Moran; and her siblings, Lowell Gene Menefee, Mildred Lovell and Martha Servies.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jodie Brittain (Brad) of Martinsville, Jennifer "Bear" Paul (Tim) of Martinsville and Jane Moran of Martinsville; her daughter-in-law Diana Moran of Martinsville; and her grandchildren, Heather Staggs (Kip), Jeff Anderson (Emily), Staci Ralph (Stevie), Jake Brittain, Gary Brittain (Kala), Joey Moran, Eric Moran (Robyn), Skylar Fleener (Jarod), Maggie Stratton, Holly and Sophie Paul. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
