He was predeceased by: his parents, Luid West and Neva Mohr (Kidd); his stepfather Edgar Mohr; and his sister Debi West. He is survived by: his wife Angela K. "Angi" West (Weaver); his children, Kathy West of New Castle, Ryan Atherton of Martinsville and Devon Atherton of Martinsville; and his brother Luid "Rusty" West of New Castle.
