He is survived by: his wife Leoncia Patterson; his sisters, Linda Carlson, Laurella Fuller, Vicki Atherton and Robin Mann; his children, Olivia Anne Patterson, Aimee Shafer (Jeff), Leslie Patterson (Paul), Nolan Patterson (Nikki), Joel Patterson (Didi), Kelly McCreery (Zak) and Charles Patterson (Sarah); and his grandchildren, Peter Miller, Elizabeth Shatto (John), Grace Shafer, Sonja Shafer, Molly McCreery, Matilda McCreery and Caspian Patterson.
