He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sarah, Deanna and Devon; his great grandchild Samantha; his wife Rebecca Nees of Martinsville; his sons, Steven Nees (Melody) of Clay City, Steve Stout Jr. (Jacinda) of Martinsville and Mike Stout (Laurie) of Martinsville; and his brother Richard "Dick" Nees of Brazil.
