She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Alban and Mary Florence Hopkins (Matthews); her fiancé Forrest D. Guthrie of Elnora, Indiana.; her children, Samuel A. Guthrie and Jeannine Hiner (Richard); and her siblings, Joseph Hopkins, Paul Hopkins, Hubert Hopkins, Thomas Hopkins, Veronica Hopkins, Clare Wickman and Roselia Cannon.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Guthrie (Dayna) of Mount Vernon, Jeannette M. Stevens of Plainfield and Genevieve Masri of Camby; her daughter-in-law Diana; her grandchildren, Benjamin Guthrie (Elisabeth) of Nashville, Sarah Guthrie Bright (Todd) of Indianapolis, Damon Hiner of Plainfield, Anna Hiner Wheeler (John) of Plainfield, David Hiner of Monrovia, Karmyn Guthrie (Joe Osbourne) of Bloomington, Mike Guthrie of Evansville, Kristin Goodman (Aaron) of Ashville, Jessica Petolino (Joe) of Brownsburg, Justin Stevens (Melissa) of Mooresville and Jenifer Byrum (Michael) of Terre Haute; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Isaac, Simon, Calvin, Bennie, Ira, Grace, Joseph, Landyn, Charlette, Stella, Juniper, Cecilia and Keegan; and her sister Mary Margaret Vineyard.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Costin Funeral Chapel (539 E Washington St, Martinsville, IN 46151). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (1709 E Harrison St, Martinsville, IN 46151).
