He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Thacker and Virginia Thacker (Norman); and his nephew David Ward. He is survived by: his children, Steven Thacker, Jason Thacker (Katie) of Martinsville, Donnie Thacker of Camby, Indiana and Jennifer Thacker (Scott Myers) of Mooresville, Indiana; and his sisters, Kathy Diane Robinson (Jon) of Greenwood, Donna Schrougham (Larry) of Martinsville and Debbie Baughn (Ron) of Knoxville. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
