He was predeceased by: his parents, Constandenos "Gus" Chirpas and Margaret A. Chirpas (Akers). He is survived by: his wife Sheila Sue "Susie" Chirpas (Lane); his son Brandon C. Chirpas (Amber) of Martinsville; and his grandchildren, Ambria, Lilly Ailes, Mason, Ryder and Rhys Chirpas.
