She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Goins and Mary G. Goins (Pratt); her close friend Benjamin Lane; and her siblings, Sam "Skeets" Goins, David Leon and Barbara Lee Yeagley.

She is survived by: her children, Charles Lenning of Missouri, Michael Lenning (Ronessa) of Bloomington and Mary Runyon (Roger) of Martinsville; her sister Ina Icenogle; her daughter Chris Miller (Terry) of Indianapolis; and also, Benjamin "Chris" Lane of Bloomington and Janie Lane (Mike) of Martinsville. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
