She was predeceased by: her father Robert M. O'Neal; and her husband Michael Keith Hovious. She is survived by: her mother Joyce O'Neal (Beauchamp) of Paragon; her sons, Ryan Hacker (Karla) of Mooresville and Dustin Hacker of Martinsville; her brother Brian O'Neal of Greenwood; her pet Spicy; and her brother Michael Lee O'Neal. She is also survived by six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
