It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D. Sampson of Martinsville, Indiana, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Sampson and Marie Sampson (Shane). He is survived by: his son Bob; his wife Mary Ann Sampson (Crone) of Martinsville; his children, David Sampson of Monrovia and Alice Kilbride (Matt) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Delilah and Oliver Kilbride; his siblings, Maybelle Muir of Martinsville, James "Jimmy" Sampson (Doris) of Albany, KY, Marilyn Pearce of Martinsville and Charles "Butch" Sampson (Rosemary) of Martinsville; and also Keenan Steinway. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; along with several great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans or a charity of the donor's choice to assist veterans.
