He is survived by: his children, Margaret McGuire (Michael) of Naperville, IL, Robert Bechtold Jr. (Jill) of San Diego, CA and Richard Bechtold (Denise) of Thorntown, IN; and his daughter-in-law Kathy Bechtold of Fishers, IN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
