He was predeceased by: his father John D. Kelso Sr.; his son Richard W. Kelso Jr.; and his brother John Kelso Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Johnna Kelso; his grandchildren, Faith Kelso, Shyla Kelso and Lilly Kelso; his great grandchild Ayden Carpenter; his siblings, Dale Kelso (Wendy), Cheryl Watkins (Rick), Cyndi Hendricks (Russ) and Darlene Twomey (James); and his stepsiblings, Robert Clark (Amber) and Deborah Gruber (Kyle). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
