He is survived by: his wife Debra Sue "Debbie" Carter; his children, Daniel, Londa Cook (Tom) and Marianne Yates; his siblings, Ted Carter, Greg Carter and Wilma Van Zant; his grandchildren, Angel, Jonathan, Jeremiah, Daniel, Darius, Tyler, Matthew and Isaiah; and his great grandchildren, Caden, Scarlett and Issabella. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
