We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2023, at the age of 93, Phyllis June Dewey (Martinsville, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Stiles and Helen Stiles (Ferguson); her husband John Wesley Dewey; her son Stephen Gregg Dewey; her stepfather Conrad S. Nash; her grandson Stephen Matthew Crocker; her brothers, James Edward, Marvin Nash, Ralph and Ronnie Stiles; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Stiles.
She is survived by: her children, Teena Collier (Earl) of Martinsville, Renee Trotter (Timothy) of Greenwood, Susan Crocker (Robert) of Martinsville, James Wesley Dewey of Martinsville and Conrad L. Dewey (Joann) of Martinsville; her siblings-in-law, Sandy Nash of Martinsville and Bob Donna of Terre Haute; and her grandchildren, Sena Dewey (April), Lennis Dewey (Roseanne), James Robert Dewey, Catherine Dewey (Marshall), Curtis Graves (Brandon), Jason Dewey (Maggie), Angela Clay (Rob), Carol Kershaw Cheryl Adams (Jeremy), Crystal Adams (Jake), Todd Trotter (Kori), Taylor Trotter (Dylan), Whitney Crocker (Joe), Hayleigh Crocker Dara (Noah) and Sara Freed (Jeremy).
