He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Stafford and Edna Mae Stafford (Crawshaw); his daughter Leslie Jo Stafford; and his siblings, Gary Stafford, Charles Stafford and Ruth Rader.
He is survived by: his wife Nikki Stafford of Martinsville; his children, Brian Stafford (Sonja) of Martinsville, Brad Stafford of Bloomington, Sean Stafford (Joy) of Nashville, TN, Patrick Stafford of Martinsville, Angie Crockett (Tom) of Quincy, Stacey Fagg (Ryan) of Plainfield, Rachel Stafford of Mooresville and Rebecca Stafford of Martinsville; his siblings, Fred Stafford (Myra) of Martinsville, Sharon Stafford of Martinsville, Ginger Kelly (Tony) of Martinsville, Lora Tworek of Martinsville and Robin Johnson (Doug) of Martinsville; and his grandchildren, Thomas Ray Crockett and Cody Daniel Stafford. He is also survived by thirty grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
