He is survived by: his wife Geneva Walters of Martinsville; his children, Debbie Burns (Tony) of Martinsville and Dennis Walters (Leslie) of Coatesville; his siblings, Richard Walters (Jennifer) of Martinsville, Emma Scott of Florida, Mattie Dickey of Franklin and Teresa Sample (Brent) of Paragon; his grandchildren, Adam Walters (Jenny), Erik Burns (Ashley), Madisson Walters, Hannah Walters, Reese Walters, Ryder Walters and Olivia Stone; his great grandchildren, Ava, Riley, Jude, Lily and Remmington; and his pet Max.
