He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Johnson (Boettcher); his daughter Margaret L. "Peggy" Asmus; and his grandchildren, Christopher Patrick Johnson, Courtney Paige Johnson, Nicholas James Johnson, Darrin C. Asmus, Robert C. Asmus, Jr., David P. Asmus and Mark B. Asmus. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
