She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold D. Upton and Helen V. Upton (Woodard); her husband Roger B. Nay; her great grandchild Abigail Gluff; and her brothers, David, Thomas and Lloyd Upton.
She is survived by: her children, Victoria Sheppard (Vicki) of Maineville, Matthew Scott Nay of Martinsville and Valeri Nichols of Hamilton, Ohio; her siblings, James Upton of Odon, Sue Ogle of Bloomington and Marjorie Grau of Little Rock, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Marlee Klosterman (Sheppard), Andrew Sheppard, Megan Gluff (Nay), Adam, Patrick Nay, Elizabeth and Ryan McConnell. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
