She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jennings and Thelma Sellman (Sosby); her former husband Thomas H. Johnson; her husband Albert E. "Gene" Branam; her daughter Virginia Rose Smith; and her brother Tom Sellman.
She is survived by: her children, Victor Johnson (Margaret) of Martinsville, Michael Johnson (Bonnie) of Martinsville, Mark Johnson (Martha) of Mooresville and Kelly Asher (Dallas) of Martinsville; and her siblings, Ronald Sellman (Mick) of Texas and Carole Weddle of Nevada. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.
Lifelong Morgan County resident, Patricia Jane Johnson-Branam, age 88, gained her angel wings on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 5:25 pm after battling failing health over the past several of years, and most recently, contracting COVID-19.
