With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pamela Joy Owens of Martinsville, Indiana, born in Brazil, Indiana, who passed away on December 20, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Carter and Ruth Carter (Wright); and her grandson Aaronn Owens. She is survived by: her husband James D. Owens of Martinsville; her children, Jeff Owens (Kim) of Martinsville, Travis Owens (Cindy) of Martinsville and Jama Dudley (Zach) of Elizabeth, IN; her grandchildren, James (Morgan), Savannah (Tyler), Dillon, Alana, Makayla, Wyatt and Emerson; her great grandchildren, Eowyn and Freya; her siblings, Twila Wagner, Bonnie Brewer and Sonny Carter; and her cousins, Vickie Roll and Michael Boswell. She is also survived by cousins, friends.

“It is with great sadness and surprise I received news of Pam's passing. I have fond memories of her as a child and woman. She carried the traits of my mother and her ants on the Wright side as well as her grandmother Nellie. I remember her as gentle and kind. She was in my thoughts many times when I reminisced about her and our early years. My sympathy is offered to Pam's immediate family and friends.”
