He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie A. Huffman and Alice L. Huffman Jr. (Certain); and his siblings, Linda Layman and James Huffman. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Beaumont; his children, Tammy Prather (Bobby) of Martinsville, Angela Burnette of Martinsville, Heather Spicer (Mike) of Morgantown and Courtney Hickman (Keith) of Piacenza, Italy; his sister Alice O'Shall of Avon; and his former wife Patricia L. Huffman (Eastwood). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
