He was predeceased by: his parents, Talbert Able and Bernice Able (Palmer). He is survived by: his wife Roberta; and his children, Tamara Peck (Dick) of Martinsville, Kevin Able (Lee) of Martinsville, Daniel Able (Jan) of Indianapolis, Timothy Able (Ronda) of Indianapolis and Kimberly Payne (Keith "Kip") of Indianapolis. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
