She is survived by: her former husband Ernest Carter; her daughter Kim of Martinsville; her sister Sandra Engle of Harlan, KY; her grandchildren, Marhia Ross of Zionsville, IN, Justin and Miranda; her great grandchildren, Hadley Drake, Jhett Ross, Arianna Broomfield, Alana Broomfield, Preston Mayhew, Samuel Mayhew, Gwendolyn Ross and Cotton Wilson; and also, Cooper of Martinsville, Jackie of Harlan, KY and Dottie of Harlan, KY.
