She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil Brummett and Catherine Doris Brummett (Carter); her husband Robert Daniel "Bob" Cooper; her son Robert Daniel Cooper, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jacob Cooper and Winfrey Harmon; her great grandchildren, Isiah James Culp and Christopher Harmon; and her siblings, David, Clarence, Eugene, Frank Irvin Brummett and Geraldine Beard.
She is survived by: her children, John Robert Cooper of Martinsville, Juaneta Phelps (Dan) of Martinsville, Bonnie Harmon (Bulldog) of Edinburgh, Connie Blaker of Owen County and Betty Strader of Martinsville; her stepson John Bolin (Wendy) of Martinsville; and her sister Janet Brittain (Glen) of Bloomington. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren.
