It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Kay Dowden (Martinsville, Indiana), who passed away on March 30, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Covert and Mary Eleanor Owen (Cook); and her stepfather Walter Seals. She is survived by: her husband Don Dowden of Martinsville; her daughters, Betty Kenworthy (Dean) of Martinsville, Donnette McCartney (Joe) of Martinsville and Joann "Frankie" Williams of Martinsville; her son-in-law Brian Williams; and her grandchildren, Lindy Kenworthy of Greenwood, Lacey Kenworthy of Greenwood, Frank McCartney of Crawfordsville, Samantha McCartney of Greencastle, Brenner Williams of Port Angeles and Morgan Williams of Martinsville.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in Mrs. Dowden's memory to the Barbara B. Jordan YMCA in Martinsville.
