Marian Doris Poe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marian Doris Poe of Martinsville, Indiana, born in Kent, Ohio, who passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford E. Roll and Mildred Mae Roll (Morningstar); her husband Ronald Poe; and her siblings, Kenneth Roll, Doty Waggoner and Betty Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, R. D. Poe II (Marny) of Indianapolis, IN, Susan Partenheimer (David) of Naples, FL, Kimberly Evans (Tim) of Titusville, FL, Kelley Whittredge (Bruce) of Bedford, IN and Tracey Guipe (Pete) of Greenwood, IN; and her grandchildren, Justin, Spencer Thacker, Alexandra Ericson, Emma Banks of Elly Guipe, R. D, Poe III, Danielle Cruz, Elizabeth, Cathleen and Lily Poe. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center (110 E Poston Rd, Martinsville, IN 46151). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Art Sanctuary to assist with youth art lessons.
