She was predeceased by: her father Guy Newton; her former husband David Leo Allison; and her brothers, Marshall, Hershel, Everett, Charlie Dawson, Harlan, Francis and Donald Steele.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert A. Collins of Martinsville and Michael S. Collins Sr. of Martinsville; her siblings, Guy "Nolan" Steele of Martinsville, Cheryl Gray (Austin) of Martinsville and Rosemary Stewart; her grandchildren, Kayla LeMay (Cody), Robert "Zach" Collins (McKenzie), Michael Collins Jr. and Malynda McHugh; and her great grandchildren, Tristan and Rowan LeMay. She is also survived by her family and friends.
