She was predeceased by: her parents, John Benjamin Hancock and Doris Caroline Thompson (Kegley); her husband Kenneth W. Wert; her siblings, Jim Hancock, Patricia Ladyman and Shirley Whitaker; and her grandson Bradley Joel Wert.
She is survived by: her children, Michael E. Wert of Martinsville, Landis Joseph Wert (Lori) of Wheatland, David C. Wert of Nashville and LaDonna L. Elmore (Jim) of Trafalgar, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Clifton Wert, Brian Wert (Amy), Benjamin Wert, Kenneth Wert, Jennifer Wert, Lindsie Elmore, Michael Elmore (Bethany), Shaughn Elmore, Kendra Haywood, Koty Wert (Kayla), Mitchel Wert (Stacy), Matthew Wert (Ashley), Destiny Wert, Halee Hessler (Jaymes), Tyler Strawder and Sasha Fletcher. She is also survived by her twenty-four great-grandchildren.
