He is survived by: his wife Sue Hess of Martinsville; his children, Eric Hess (Andrea) of Martinsville, Tia Neitzel (Bryan) of Martinsville, Amy Hopkins (David) of Martinsville and Emma "Charli" Hedrick (Michael) of Martinsville; his sister Betty Jo Hancock of Arizona; his grandchildren, Olivia Bowman (Codie), Hannah O'Neal (William), Levi, Emma, Beau, Ava Hess, Dayle Noel (Tom), Nathan Neitzel, Bret (Tory), Ethan (Jessica), Cody (Bri), Eli Hopkins, Erica, Sean, Libby and Mary Hedrick; and his great grandchildren, Mack Bowman and Lexi Hopkins. He is also survived by children, sixteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
