He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Marilyn Sue Haskins; his wife Marilyn O'Brien of Martinsville; his mother Mary Etta O'Brien; his children, Kristine Bauers (Robert) of Terre Haute, Shannon Martin of Martinsville, Heather Kirk of Avon, Keith O'Brien (Pam) of Robinson, IL and Kerry O'Brien of Martinsville; his stepchildren, Stacia Shockley (E. J.) of Fishers and Steve Messmer of Martinsville; his sister Kathy Rucker (Danny) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Josh O'Brien, Jacob Bauers, Keenan O'Brien, Dylan Austin, Maryssa Kirk, Clayton Martin, Gwendolyn O'Brien and Adison Martin; his stepgrandchildren, Zach Rudolf, Kaiser Shockley, Kennedy Shockley and Karsyn Shockley; his father Roger O'Brien; and his granddaughter Brittany Moore. He was also cherished by 7 great grandchildren.
