She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard B. Carpenter and Blanche Carpenter (Heath); her son Stephen Dale Collier; her son-in-law Mike Tinsley; her brother Willard B. Carpenter, Jr.; her former husband James Collier; and her stepdaughter Jennifer Blythe.
She is survived by: her children, Rosemarie Tinsley of Martinsville and David Judah Collier (Tara) of Nashville; her sister Annabelle Collier of Martinsville; her former husband Bill Blythe; and her stepsons, William Gregory Blythe of Monrovia, Michael Brian Blythe (Lisa) of Greenwood and Gary Steven Blythe (Lori) of Monrovia. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
