He is survived by: his mother Sharon Frentz (Worley); his wife Susan Frentz (Burkett) of Greenwood, Indiana; his son Elijah Joe Frentz of Greenwood; his stepfather Tom Frentz of Martinsville; his daughters, Lanee Sorenson of Greenwood and Emma Davis of Martinsville; his goddaughter Cheyenne Reed of Martinsville; his siblings, Teresa "Terri" Nieman-Katz of Greenwood and Monty Grubb of Clayton, Indiana; his granddaughter Emily Joy; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Burkett of Greenwood and Mike "Leroy" Burkett of Martinsville. He is also survived by friends, including his wife and soulmate of nearly 29 years.
