It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Victor Mills of Martinsville, Indiana, born in Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Druen Mills and Vivian Mills (Warner); and his sisters, Sharon Merry and Patsy Walker. He is survived by: his wife Brenda L. Mills (Golden) of Martinsville; his children, Cory Mills (Stephanie), Lori Nimtz (Duane) of Martinsville, Jami Templeman of Martinsville and Chrissy Atkins (Kerry) of Martinsville; his siblings, Jerry Mills (Terry) of Georgia, Dickie Mills (Regina) of Bloomington, Bill Mills of Bloomington, Carol Deckard of Bloomington and Joyce Harding (Charlie) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Jon, Jimmy, Justin, Emily, Kenzie, Kylee, Karah, Lilly, Allison and Dylan; his great grandchildren, Kaiden, Landon, Warren, Treyten and Naomi; his mother-in-law Alice Golden of Mooresville; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanne Hale (Melvin) of Mooresville, Martina Chance (John) of Bloomington and Alvin Junior Golden of Martinsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
