He is survived by: his wife Melanie Elizabeth Perkon (Harrison); his children, Lauron Lynn Sessa of Springville, Christopher Matthew Perkon of Edinburgh and Erin Leanne Richardson of Bloomington; his sister Jane Frances Wheatley of Millhousen; his grandchildren, Nicole Owens, Casedra Evans, Ashlee Perkon, Kristianna Moore, Mariah Wilson and Max Richardson; and his great grandchildren, Cole Christie, Lilith Evans, Christopher N. Perkon, Brennan Perkon, Esmond Moore and Ambrose Wilson.

I Loved John. he was someone i looked up to, part of a generation that we need more of today, but we are sadly losing.
