He was predeceased by: his parents, George Otis and Eleanor Maxine Stewart (Sawyer); and his siblings, Charles E. "Chuck" Inman Jr. and Patricia Hadji. He is survived by: his wife Karen Stewart (Minnix) of Martinsville; his son Mark Stewart of Indianapolis; and his sisters, Jean Bailey (David) of Florida, Iva Wininger (Gary) of Indianapolis, Janet Rickett (Marc) of Franklin, Susan Cramer (Nelson) of Martinsville and Lynne Atkinson (Dennis) of Camby.

NOTICE: All guests will be required to provide and wear a face covering before entering the building in effort to suppress the spread of COVID-19 and protect the family and community.

Contributions may be made in John's memory to the Churches in Mission food pantry, c/o Neal & Summers.
