It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Gary Marvel of Martinsville, Indiana, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on December 14, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ann Auburn Marvel (Cragen) of Martinsville; his children, Mike Marvel (Dena) of Martinsville, Monty Marvel (Leah) of Martinsville and Mitzi Marvel (Tim Anderson) of Menlo Park, CA; his sisters, Arle Rose (Tom) of Murietta, CA and Janet Lammott (Elvin) of Ft. Myers, FL; his grandchildren, Sydney Hopkins (Bret), Caleb Marvel (Cally), Amelia Marvel, Madison Marvel (Derrick Smith), Sophia Marvel (Sean Brinson), Georgia and Penelope Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Wayne and Harrison. He was also cherished by his family and friends.
