He was predeceased by: his parents, James LaVerne Miller and Ellen Ann Miller Smart (Patterson). He is survived by: his spouse Kay Ellen Miller of Martinsville; his children, Kelley Tortorice (Phil) of Carmel, IN, Sherry Erne (Mike) of Chicago and Bradley Miller of Martinsville; his grandchildren, Katie Kauffman (Ben) of Holland, MI, Audrey Tortorice of Carmel, IN, Sarah of Chicago, Samantha of Chicago and William Erne of Chicago; his siblings, Larry Wayman (Suzanne) of Indianapolis, IN, Debbie Terpstra of Florida and Mary Fobian (Ed) of Nevada; and his pet Sadie.
The family has requested that contributions be made in Jim's memory in lieu of flowers to either the Morgan County Humane Society, Red Barn, Desert Rose or the American Cancer Society.
