He was predeceased by: his father Roger Burleigh. He is survived by: his mother Patsy Burleigh (Fouts) of Martinsville; his wife Susan Burleigh (Leininger); his sons, Logan James Burleigh of Martinsville and Evan Matthew Burleigh; his siblings, Kimberly Selch (Kay) of Martinsville and Jeana Lawson (Dan) of Indianapolis; his siblings-in-law, Michael Leininger and Polly Sumansky (Brad); his nieces and nephews, Kaytie Barrett (Dave), Lexi (Sophia Lawson), Joseph (Anna Sumansky) and Oren (Eleanor Barrett); his aunts, Sharon Morgan and Jan Ann Salvati (Frank); and his son Corben James.
