It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Atherton of Martinsville, Indiana, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert "Bob" Atherton. He is survived by: his mother Maxine "Lou" Atherton (Peveler); his wife Renee Atherton (Murray); his children, Robert Atherton of Martinsville, Lela Diane Allman (Vernie) of Martinsville, Brooke Hoskins of Nashville and Anthony Atherton of Mooresville; his sisters, Donna Steinbrook (Ron) of Martinsville, Debra Myers (Chuck) of Martinsville and Cindy Trout (David) of Martinsville; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, Justin, Danielle, Ed, Diana, Emma, Donnie and Sara. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
