He is survived by: his wife Donna M Welch; his children, Nancy Armstrong (Dennis) of Martinsville, Teresa Royce of Marietta, GA and Doug Royce (Jean Ann) of Sunman; his grandsons, Jarrod Armstrong (Anna) of Upland and Michael Armstrong (Kayley) of Martinsville; his brother Cary "Bob" Royce (Carolyn) of LaFontaine; and his great grandchildren, Owen Armstrong, Flynn Armstrong, Connor Armstrong and Dean Armstrong.
